Spring is finally here. As we look forward to the warmer months and begin to shed the accessories of winter, we look forward to getting out and enjoying the perks of the Delaware River Towns. Of course, that also means checking out some of the Spring events! Here are some of our recommendations.
Shadfest
On April 27 and 28 the 38th annual ShadFest will be held in downtown Lambertville. Shadfest is by far one of the most attended Spring events in the area. Attendees can expect street vendors, sidewalk sales, street food, and fun! Don’t worry, eating Shad, the namesake of the festival isn’t required.
Delaware River Towns Restaurant Week
From March 24 through the 28th the Delaware River Towns Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau will be holding the 10th annual Restaurant Week. The diversity of food options from the participating restaurants is impressive. We highly recommend heading out to support your favorite eateries and try to discover some new ones.
Game of Throne Pop Up Event at HopScotch22
Doylestown’s HopScotch22 will be hosting a 6-week popup bar inspired by HBO’s blockbuster show Game of Thrones. Throughout the final season, the popup will offer a unique cocktail menu and a kings feast. Also, on April 20 the Queens Banquet will be held complete with jugglers, snake dancers, and a sword spinner. A must visit for any GOT fan!
Peddler’s Village Events
Peddler’s Village in Lahaska has a pretty full calendar throughout the Spring. Some of our favorites include the child-centric Spring Kids Fest, a Wine Stroll, and Strawberry Festival. Peddler’s Village is always a fun experience, especially in the warmer months.
Now that Spring is here we hope you get out and enjoy the beauty and community throughout this scenic area.
