Professional Baseball is alive near the Delaware River Towns. While, the there is no professional baseball in the Delaware River Towns, we do have professional baseball teams within driving distance. The Phillies, The Trenton Thunder and the Somerset Patriots are all within an hour of the River Towns (give or take with no traffic.)

The Trenton Thunder is the Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. Many a great Yankees has donned a Thunder uniform on his way to the big leagues or during a rehab assignment. This team is always competitive, fan-friendly and a great way to experience baseball near the River Towns.

Somerset Patriots
Playing their home games in Bridgewater, NJ a TD Ballpark, the Somerset Patriots are a great time for all. Playing in the Atlantic League of Independent Baseball, the Patriots are not-affiliated with any major league organization, but that does not make them less competitive. The ball players here are looking to get that call up from the majors and catch on a club during the Major League season.
The Somerset Patriots are the winningest ball club in Atlantic League history.
