Are you looking forward to the summer as much as we are?
As springtime continues and the warm weather teases us, we are getting ANSTY. It’s hard to compare the summers around the Delaware River Towns to anywhere else.
Fishing? Check. Boating? Check. Tubing? Check. Floating hot dog man? Uhh, check.
With so much to do, it’s hard not to start planning already. Some of our favorite events from the summer include enjoying a quality meal on an outside patio, Friday Fireworks, fishing at Bulls Island and going kayaking.
Even though it’s only May, why not look forward to the opening dates of our favorite local events? You can never be too early when it comes planning fun around the River!
Let us know what you would add to our Delaware River Towns summer guide:
First Friday Fireworks
Begins June 7, July 5, August 2
What’s becoming a tradition for the first Friday of each summer month in New Hope-Lambertville is soon making its return! If you’ve ever been to one of these shows, you won’t doubt me when I say it’s a blast! (no pun intended)
Bucks County River County
Opens Saturday, May, 18
Floating down the majestic Delaware River with your friends while taking in the sun? The local life at it’s best! Located in Point Pleasent, PA, the Bucks County River County has been one of the most popular tubing companies in the area and for good reason!
Floating Hot Dog Man
Opens Summer 2019
You just can’t leave out what’s become one of the more famous parts of the Delaware River! The Floating Hot Dog man has been featured on several large publications including Thrillist which means you should expect a crowd. He opens up shop right around the time tubing begin taking over the river so we do not have an exact date at the moment. We will update when we get more information!
