This Friday, June 14th, the third annual Paddle Battle will be held in the currents of the Delaware River. This friendly competition is held every Summer for bragging rites in the sister towns.
This year the Imbue Creative Lambertville boat will be led by mayor Julia Fahl. The Logan Inn sponsored New Hope boat will have Council President Connie Gering. The record from the past two years remains tied at 1-1 with each town bringing home a win.
This year’s official viewing and after-party will be held at the newly opened Playhouse Deck. The Deck is part of the Bucks County Playhouse and offers an amazing view of the river, great food, and cold drinks.
There are a ton of other great places to enjoy while watching the race throughout the Delaware River Towns. If you aren’t able to make it the official party we recommend checking out The Landing, Martine’s Riverhouse, and the area in front of the Lambertville Station.
The race starts at 5:30 PM so make sure you arrive early to see who will win 2019’s bragging rights in the Delaware River Towns.
Thank you to this year’s sponsors including Imbue Creative, The Logan Inn, and the Bucks County Dragon Boat Association.
