HBO’s blockbuster show, Game of Thrones, returns for the final season on April 14, 2019. In celebration, Doylestown’s Hopscotch22 is hosting Ice & Fire, a Game of Thrones pop-up bar from April 11 through the last episode on May 19.
Hopscotch22’s basement bars will transform into a medieval underground realm featuring stone walls and iron gates. They will also be offering a Game of Throne’s influenced signature cocktail menu in addition to a “feast for kings” and a “queens banquet.”
For the Throne, a night at the queen’s banquet will take place on April 20 from 8 pm to 12 am. This uniquely immersive experience includes a sword spinner, snake dancer, juggler, and burlesque performances throughout the night. Period attire is encouraged with prizes awarded for the best dressed.
Throughout the duration of the night, visitors can enter to win a handcrafted replica of the Iron Throne. The lucky winner will be announced just prior to the long-anticipated series finale on at 8 PM on May 19.
This limited pop up will be open Thursday through Sunday for the entire 6-weeks of the season. If you are a Game of Thrones fan or just looking for something fun, this event sounds like one of the areas must-visit events.
