What is it?
Back for another busy year, Frenchtown’s Riverfest 2019 is a popular annual community event held by the Frenchtown Business & Professional Association (FBPA). A day full of community fun with a couple of surprises along the way, Riverfest 2019 has something for everybody.
Celebrating life along the Delaware River, the festival features plenty of live music, art, food, and family-friendly activities. Don’t forget the paper boat races with the Frenchtown Vikings! These boat races are open to anyone willing to craft a ship of their own at the riverside tent. As they are complete, the Vikings will take the boats and sail them off to sea (or in this case the Delaware River.) To top everything off, expect a fantastic firework show!
Where is it?
The all-day festival will be taking place all over the esthetic River Town of Frenchtown, NJ. The party shouldn’t be hard to miss but if you need a place to start, work your way down Bridge Street and in Sunbeam Park. In past years, fireworks have commenced at the Plessey Field so if you want a great view of the show, arrive a bit early. We will be updating this article with any updates that come up so check back for more on the exact location of the fireworks.
Additional parking for Riverfest 2019 is available at Kathee’s General Store, at Frenchtown School and in the lot at Old Frenchtown Field.
How is it?
Every year Riverfest is every better than the last! Bring your whole family or just some friends and get ready for some small-town fun. It’s always a blast celebrating the beautiful area we live in, especially if Vikings are included.
