On April 13, 2019, independent record stores around the country will be celebrating the 12th annual National Record Store Day.
Record stores have always been an important haven in the music community. Even in today’s digital world, the record stores remain an integral and lasting part of the music community. They are one of the last remaining vestiges for musicians, music lovers, and collectors to congregate and interact as a community.
Siren Records in Doylestown
Doylestown’s, Siren Records, will even be hosting an event throughout April 13th. The event includes special national and regional vinyl releases to honor the day. These releases are extremely limited and sold on first come, first served basis and limited to one title per person. The event is open to all ages and a must visit for all music lovers in the area.

Princeton Record Exchange
If you know music and love physical records, you know Princeton Record Exchange. Located at 20 South Tulane Ave in Princeton, NJ, Princeton Record Exchange is an audiophiles heaven. Their rows and rows of vinyl bins are a treasure for DJs looking for that next break beat, Jazz aficionados, Punk crate diggers, or someone looking for that special record to recapture that special feeling.

Sadly, there are not enough record stores left in the Delaware River Towns. In this digital age, we all play a part in preserving a piece of history and community for future generations.
