When you think of heading to New Hope for a meal, you know there’s a lot to expect. The small town charm filled with a diverse art community makes for a town that’s one of a kind. Other than the great people, one of our favorite things are the magnificent views of the Delaware River. If you are a local, you probably know of all the sweet spots to catch a picturesque view. (Although not in New Hope, Goat Hill overlook provides one of the best views of the Delaware River in Bucks County. Take a look at the trail here but don’t spread the word TOO much, this spot is a local gem.)
From all around New Hope, the sights of the Delaware River at these restaurants are incredible. If you know the area as well as we do though, you probably avoid heading here on the weekend. But, if your lucky enough to grab a table at one of these spots, you’re in for an extraordinary night.
The Landing Restaurant
One of our personal favorites and considered by many to be the romantic hub of the town, The Landing is a fantastic spot. Perched right along the River and close to the walking bridge, table views here belong on a postcard. With an excellent menu and bar, the Landing tops the list for best New Hope restaurant river views. Although they don’t take reservations, a seat along the river here is worth the wait.
The Deck at Bucks County Playhouse
Newly renovated, the Deck at the Bucks County Playhouse is perfectly situated overlooking our favorite river. From what we’ve heard, the tables are set up with optimal views for you to enjoy. Another bonus for the Playhouse is how accessible the parking is. Like we said, if you’ve been to New Hope on the weekends, you know the parking struggle. Pull right up to the Playhouse and get into what is considered one of the best restaurant river views in New Hope.
Martine’s RiverHouse Restaurant
With a similar view to The Landing just on the opposite side, Martine’s Riverhouse is another favorite of ours! Sitting outside with friends, indulging in good drinks and great food is what this place is all about. Get the camera ready because you won’t believe where your sitting. New Hope is such a special place for so many reasons, and Martine’s is one of them.
