SCARECROWS IN THE VILLAGE
10/10 – 10/30: All-day
It’s the perfect time to visit and take in the bright, brilliant hues of fall and admire the more than 100 spectacular scarecrows on display during our 42nd annual Scarecrows in the Village! With seven categories (Traditional, Quite the Character, Thrills with Chills, Myth & Lore, Upcycled Crow, Pink Out!, and Kids Only! Scarecrow), these larger-than-life, colorful, creative scarecrows will line the red brick paths throughout our 42 picturesque acres. Vote for (and photograph!) your favorites, enjoy fun fall activities, live entertainment every weekend, and delicious fall-inspired specials at Village restaurants through October.
VOTING
Vote for your favorites in eight categories: Traditional, Quite the Character, Thrills with Chills, Myth & Lore, Upcycled Crow, Pink Out!, Kids Only!, and Village Shops. Ballots can be cast through our Peddler’s Village Mobile app.
Paper ballots are available in all shops and restaurants. Please drop your completed paper ballot in boxes located in the Cock ‘n Bull, Giggleberry Fair Indoor Family Fun Center, Buttonwood Grill, and at our Hospitality Center. Voting continues through October 11. The creators of the winning scarecrows receive prizes.
GOLDEN GIRLS OUTDOOR MURDER MYSTERY: THE HALLOWEEN CAPER
10/23: 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
The Golden Girls are at it again! Miami’s Fab Four are planning their annual Halloween shindig, and the goblins and ghouls have all come out to play. As Rose dresses the room in traditional St. Olaf Halloween decorations and Blanche dons her cat ears, Dorothy eagerly anticipates a surprise guest… but the surprise might be on her when things don’t work out the way she hoped and Sophia shows us her Psycho side. In the end, all we can say is…Thank you for being a friend! This is an outdoor event held under the event tent. Please dress for the weather; bring sweaters, blankets… whatever you feel is appropriate. Check-in starts at 5:15 PM. A cash bar will be available. Food is not included. Guests are encouraged to dine before the show at Peddler’s Village restaurants.
OCTOBERFEAST
10/16 & 10/17: All-Day
Join us for OctoberFeast, a weekend featuring German-themed food, beverages, live entertainment, and activities. Grab your stein and stroll amongst larger-than-life scarecrows every day through October 30, part of our Annual Scarecrows in the Village competition!
As always, admission and parking are free.

The ghosts of Peddler’s Village
will rise near Hallows Eve
to revel through the night,
and frolic as they please.
Venture through their haunted house,
walk a carpet of blood red,
warm yourself by the fire,
and disco with the dead.
Don your best costume, or dress in black for a spirited evening with a live DJ, club-style dancing, haunted house, live entertainment, fire pits, games, photo booth, and more! Cash bar, pay-as-you-go food trucks. Cash prizes will be awarded for the best costume.

Calling all ghosts and goblins! Dress in your spookiest, most original Halloween costume and come on out to the Peddler’s Village Slightly Batty Halloween Wing-Ding! Explore a haunted house, boogie down at a spooky dance party, and play games such as pumpkin bowling, musical chairs, and more. Prizes will be awarded for all kids participating in the Halloween costume contest. Feast on pizza, refreshments, and frighteningly delicious desserts.
