The two public Delaware River crossing reenactments will not be held at Washington Crossing Historic Park this December due to the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ COVID-19 crowd-size restrictions.However, to keep the tradition alive, the Friends of Washington Crossing Park will debut a special short film on Christmas morning.The short movie, filmed in 2020 with reenactors who have reenacted the crossing for many years, offers a closeup, never-before-seen look at this important moment in American history.
