Sri Vidya (the grace of highest knowing) is the wisdom lineage of tantra. Tantra is a science & methodology of understanding and embodying higher consciousness. These methods include mantra, pranayama, visualization and ritual practice; to come into relationship with higher consciousness, and to integrate our understanding of it and nourish and encourage our own liberation.
In this workshop we will learn more about Sri Vidya & Tantra; specifically understanding the philosophy system itself and how higher consciousness descends to the individual. We will discuss non-duality, the chakras, the Sanskrit alphabet & how they all correspond to the Sri Yantra: the matrix of consciousness which is most revered in Sri Vidya. And we will move through a very simple but integrative meditation practice to touch the surface of what this lineage holds.
