South County Soccer Camp

Boys and girls ages 5 – 14 will be divided into groups by age and ability. Professional trainers will provide instruction geared toward skill development through fun and exciting games. Love’s training staff will include current or former college and high school varsity soccer players. The week-long program will cover soccer moves, passing combinations, adaptation to individual player and game situations, short and long distance
shooting, individual and team defense, tactical possession, along with other facets of the game. Goalie training can also be provided if there is an interest. Each player will be provided with a soccer ball. The final session on the last day will end with a camp version of the Soccer Olympics and a pizza party. Participation prizes will be awarded for the Olympians.

Camp Director Jeffery Love is a soccer recruiter for Montclair State University and coaches the New Hope Solebury High School JV soccer team. He was Head Coach of the Solebury School Varsity Soccer Team, Head Coach of the SCSL
Scorpions U19 Travel Team, Head Coach of the Trenton Catholic High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team and Head Coach of Delaware Township Middle School Soccer Team. Coach Love co-founded Tops Soccer in Hunterdon County in 2002, is a head skills trainer for the Special Olympics, and has assisted many players in successfully obtaining scholarships to play in college. He is a former president of South County Soccer League and has been involved with the league in a coaching and training capacity since 1994. Love continues with the Club today as a referee and camp director.
