Makers Alley is pleased to offer limited access visits to unique working studios hosted by accomplished area artists and crafters.
Sculptor Wendy Wilkinson Gordon works in a wide range of mediums including wire, wood, resins, paper, brass and recently chain-mail. As a prize-winning sculptor, she started making wood furniture in high school and spent time in Florence studying wood-working before transferring to Syracuse University. She began her artistic career at the Johnson Atelier foundry in Princeton, New Jersey. Today, working in her Lambertville home studio, Wendy continues to experiment with a wide variety of materials.
She brings an intention and consciousness to her sculptures reflecting what she sees in nature and changes in the world. This studio visit will include a demonstration, open studio, and Q&A.
