Delaware River Float Trip – River Tube, Canoe, or Kayak

We will put in at Frenchtown and get out at the Bulls Island in New Jersey. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY event – adults please drink responsibly.

DO NOT USE POOL FLOATS – they will puncture easily

LOGISTICS:
We will meet in the Stockton Food Store (deli and sandwiches available) at 9 AM for a route & logistics meeting. Here is the google map to the meetup location (There is public parking there) LINK https://goo.gl/FWGnMA

At 9:30 AM, based on how many people are there we can figure out who needs to drive to the drop-off. (I have a pickup truck with a cap that can hold a lot of equipment.) We will caravan to Frenchtown and leave vehicles at the extraction point (which is one the way to Frenchtown), drivers will head back to Frenchtown to get their vehicles while others deflate the tubes. Depending on the speed of the river, the trip will be approximately 3 to 6 hours.

This route will include a rest stop at “The Famous River Hot Dog Man”, which has chicken sandwiches, kosher hot dogs, nachos and cheese, and veggie & regular burgers. It’s kinda expensive so judge yourself accordingly and see the next paragraph.

After we get off the river, we will be going to Dilly’s At Centre Bridge (across the bridge from Stockton). They have awesome food and ice cream
