June 20-24, for high schoolers
Discover the natural world, and how to blend science with art in this week’s Conservation Photography Summer Camp! Each day features guided photography walks, designed to get the camper observing the natural world in a new way. They will use technology, science, and art to build deeper connection to the ecosystems we are a part of.
Campers will restore bird habitat and do some field conservation work so they learn what goes into field work. This counts for volunteer and service hours! Industry professionals will present about the importance of using eco-art to communicate scientific data. At the end, campers will create a gallery that tells a story as we display their artwork, professionally framed, during an opening reception!
Price: $400/camper, with $125/week for extended care (9 AM – 5 PM).
