The Sunday Music Club welcomes “one of the finest singer-songwriters in America” (says Mountain Stage) back to his Philly-area roots.
He’s our country’s “best folk ballad songwriter” (says Penguin Eggs Magazine). His songs, “brimming with compassion, off center, off the wall, and funny” (NY Times) have been compared to the style of Mark Twain (Florida Today) and John Steinbeck (Bristol Herald) . He’s also a baseball bard, who has 22 of his baseball-themed songs enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Chuck Brodsky has released 14 albums in his 30-year career, and is making a rare return to his Philadelphia-area roots to visit the Frenchtown Bookshop Sunday Music Series.
