Pride celebrations has its root in the pursuit of justice and equality for all. The fight for this equality has moved from national issues to local ones particularly around LGBT rights in schools. Our gathering this year will focus on what is happening in our schools, how to organize, and how to respond. Our speakers will include school board members, teacher, parents, and students. Each offering firsthand accounts how this issue affects them.
