Love Mother Earth Art Show 2020

Love Mother Earth 2020 is an environmental art exhibition hosted by the Sunrise chapters of Hunterdon County and Lambertville, as well as the Indivisible chapter of Lambertville/New Hope. We invite participants of all ages and abilities to come display their environmentally focused art in ANY medium, whether that art is based on an environmental idea, made from recycled materials, is a song written about the climate crisis, etc. We welcome traditional physical art such as drawings, paintings, sculpture, etc, but we also would love to have folks come in and perform song/dance or even poetry/spoken word!

The event will take place from 12-5 pm on Saturday, February 29 at Prallsville Mills in Stockton, NJ. We will set up on Friday, February 28, when performers can come and rehearse at the venue. If you are planning to perform, you do not have to stay the whole time during the actual event (though we highly recommend it)- we will assign you a time slot. If you have a preference for the time, please note that on the form. Even if you can’t attend the event, we welcome you to sign up to display your physical creations!

Artists who are available and will be displaying physical art can feel free to come with their art in the morning and stay through the end of the event. If you are not able to make the event, please note that in the additional thoughts section and we will arrange something.

All framed art should be properly wired for hanging. Posters and submissions on paper may be hung clothesline fashion. Neither the sponsoring groups or Prallsville Mills can assume responsibility for damages to any art. Individual artists are responsible for making any necessary arrangements for the return of their submissions.

If you wish to sell your work, you may do so at the event, and you have the option to donate the proceeds to an environmental organization of your choosing. If your art does not sell and you do not wish to retrieve it, you can donate the piece itself to an environmental organization.
