Beside the amazing views of the Delaware River, what comes to mind when you think of New Hope, PA? Maybe the many local shops, restaurants or bars? Don’t overlook the vast amount of art galleries thriving in this area.
This weekend September 29 – 30, The 25th Annual New Hope Art’s festival comes to town.
This awesome outdoor event is expecting over 15,000 visitors. If you’re from New Hope, you know how awesome this festival gets!
Over 160 skilled artists and artisans will be set up at New Hope-Solebury High School, rain or shine. Bring your friends and family; there will be plenty to keep everyone entertained! Family-friendly art activities will be on scenes as well as live music and great food! Free for kids and 1$ admission for those 15+.
Different types of artwork on display will include “oil paintings, watercolors, pastels, sculpture, fine and fun jewelry, ceramics, works in wood, fiber, furniture, wearable art, glass art, photography, and more.” Arrive early to enjoy the festival, Saturday 10 am – 6 pm and Sunday 10 am – 5 pm.
Just a few minutes from Downtown New Hope, the festival takes in the high school’s parking lot. You need quite the lot to house over 160 vendors! There will be a shuttle to the lot from South Main St at the Bucks County Playhouse. This a free shuttle that visitors are encouraged to ride. Once you arrive, you’re invited to interact with artists and enjoy the show.
