Why leave the pup home alone chasing squirrels when they can take a seat at the table?
Restaurants around the river towns are becoming more open to the idea of being pet-friendly. You can’t go wrong enjoying a cocktail with your furry friend by your side. Most places do not allow pets indoors for obvious reasons but pull up on the porch! These bars & restaurants are happy to accommodate Fido with a fresh bowl of water while you eat. Woof, woof!
Café Galleria
A personal favorite and one of the cutest cafes in Lambertville, NJ, Caffe Galleria is the perfect place to pour up with a pet. Located at 23 N Union St, the cafe is in the heart of town. Take your dog for a walk around this quaint area or travel onto the top path. In Lambertville, there are tons of views of the River for both of you to take in. When you’re hungry, Caffe Galleria has a tasty meal for any time day. I tend to go with the Panini Sandwich for lunch. Penny prefers the water bowl.
Lambertville Station
Well known for being pet-friendly, Lambertville Sation caters to all canines! The waiters are happy to serve your dog up fresh water while you check the menu. If you go, you have to try the Lobster Bisque! Out of this world. Just get ready for the puppy eyes when your friend gets a sniff!
You’ll find Lambertville Station sandwiched between the canal and the river. It’s a great spot to spend the day, especially if your dog is a swimmer.
Triumph Brewing Company
You know how much we love Triumph and for good reason. Some of the top beers in the area with one of the best atmospheres. The only thing missing from Triumph Brewing Company in New Hope, PA is a view of the river! Trust me; your dog will love the open patio almost as much as you do. I’d recommend some food, but we all know the reason to hit up Triumph. Try the Bengal Gold IPA, a favorite beer of our featured River Town guest, Greg.
