Can you believe that it’s time for Christmas lights already? Time flies, and so do the seasons. As the frost moves in, Peddler’s Village is kicking off the celebration. The Grand Illumination Celebration at Peddler’s Village marks the first day of the prominent display of Christmas lights throughout this area of Lahaska, PA.
Join Santa and his team of helpers as they come together to flip the magic switch to ignite Christmas in Peddler’s Village. This is the perfect event to gather with friends and family to welcome in this festive time of year. Local entertainment will also be in attendance, performing all of your favorite Holiday tunes.
Don’t forget about the Gingerbread House Competition & Display! This incredible showing of technical gingerbread houses is no joke. Every year the competition seems to take a step up. Make sure you snap a picture of your favorite build and tag us at #DRTLocal so we can feature you on our Instagram.
Complimentary hot apple cider and marshmallow roastings will be up for the taking as well as tons of other open eateries for you to enjoy. Food trucks will also be in the holiday spirit, so make sure you arrive with an appetite! Expect a little bit of everything for everyone.
You’ll be blown away by just how remarkable & elaborate these displays are. Lining buildings, trees and of course the famous millwheel, there’s no shortage of Holiday fun.
Keep in mind there will be free admission and parking, but this is a jam-packed event. Consider traffic delays as well as a shortage of parking. Peddler’s Village also advises against bringing your fluffy friends since the pathways become overcrowded.
