Hike with the Goats & Farm Tour

Enjoy a farm tour and a hike with the goats in the forest. We are a fully licensed, commercial goat dairy. On the farm tour, you will learn how we milk goats to make delicious cheese in a family-friendly environment. The hike will meander through our 17 acres of forest. The hike will cover 1/2- 3/4 mile over approximately 30 minutes. The goats will nibble on leaves and possibly even a Christmas tree along the way. You’ll see their mad climbing skills, some jumping and maybe even some head butts. The terrain is flat, and you should expect some uneven footing here and there. Sturdy boots are recommended. After we return from the hike, you can enjoy more goat time in their play area. No strollers on the hike due to the rugged trail.

The event is 100% outside, so please dress appropriately. We suggest boots as your footwear, especially if you want to join the goats in their play area. The tour and hike will last approximately one hour. Our farm store will be open with handmade soaps and ceramics.

Our tours are limited to 12 people. We will take appropriate measures to ensure social distancing. For the health and safety of all participants, we respectfully ask that you wear a mask while you are on the tour.

This is a family-friendly event. Because we are a working farm, we expect that you will supervise your children all times. Our driveway is gravel and some of the walking paths in the forest are rugged. We do not recommend bringing strollers.

In the event of inclement weather such as a winter storm, we will cancel the event. We will email you about a cancellation 24 hours prior to the event, using the email address you provided at registration. You can use your registration fee towards a future event or a purchase in our online farm store. Vouchers will be provided electronically via the email address you use for registration within 3 days of cancellation. Sorry, no refunds.

For the safety of our goats, we do not allow pets on the tour. Service animals are welcome and will need to stay outside of the goat play area

Goat love: Our goats love people. If you choose to be up close and personal with them, they will share their love with you by nibbling on your zipper or rubbing their head on your leg.
Nature: We are nestled in the woods of Hunterdon County. On the tour, there’s a chance you might see other wildlife or just have a moment to take a deep breath and enjoy the beauty around us.
Farm store: Our farm store will be open with handmade goats milk soaps and handmade ceramics. Everything we sell is made on our farm
Restroom: In case your drive was long, we have a portable restroom and hot running water for hand washing available to all guests.
