AFTER SCHOOL EXPLORERS – Bucks County Audubon Society

Come join us at Bucks Audubon to get outside and explore all that nature has to offer! This set of after-school programs is for children in grades 1-4. Our upcoming programs are scheduled weekly on Thursdays from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM beginning October 7, 2021. Fee for all ten sessions: Members $150, Non-members $200. 17TH ANNUAL HIGH HEEL DRAG RACE IN NEW HOPE, PA – New Hope, PA

The race will be held on Sunday, October 24th, 2021! Keeping A New Hope Tradition Alive Over the past 17 years, the annual High Heel Drag Race has been the highlight of the October fall season in New Hope. Originally hosted by the local Chamber of Commerce, the event was passed to NHC in 2015. It seemed to be a perfect fit, “We are grateful to keep this long-standing tradition alive” said Matt Hanson, NHC President. Register below to be in the race at newhopecelebrates.com. The High Heel Race is an all-inclusive event, which represents our communities’ diverse and accepting culture. Everyone in the race, male and female participants alike, will wear high heels as they each carry a pumpkin up the hill where they will decorate it and return down Mechanic Street in New Hope. One of New Hope’s most popular and fun-filled fall events, which heralds in the Out in October – New Hope Celebrates Fall exhibits and events.
