GINGERBREAD HOUSE COMPETITION AND DISPLAY – Peddler’s Village
11/23 – All-Day Event
The Gingerbread Competition & Display is a feast for the eyes with creative and whimsical entries in several categories. The Gingerbread entries will be on exhibit in the Village Gazebo during shopping hours from November 19 through January 9, 2021. Entries open to the public. Admission is free.
THANKSGIVING DINNER – Peddler’s Village

This year, we will be presenting a safely served buffet with multiple stations at the Cock ‘n Bull as well as a la carte Thanksgiving specials at Earl’s New American. (Buttonwood Grill will be open for breakfast only.)

RIVER RATS TURKEY TROT! – Bull’s Island Recreation Area
11/26 – 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
The River Rats Challenge Series Continues! Come out and race with your fellow River Rats, family, and friends on Thanksgiving! Like all races, this will be timed and all participants will have a bib. Registration starts at 8 AM and there is a suggested donation of $10.00 for The Barnyard Sanctuary. The Winners will receive Thanksgiving pies! The Course is an out and back 5k course starting at Bulls Island Recreation Area and heading South Towards Stockton. This is a fast flat course!

WREATH & SLEIGHBELL SALE – Howell’s Living History Farm

Visitors are invited to lend support to the farm’s community outreach programs by bringing canned goods for donation to area food banks and soup kitchens. At the visitor center, the Friends of Howell Farm will hold their annual Wreath & Sleighbell Sale, featuring straps of bells made by the farm’s harnessmaker. Parking and admission are free.
