First Saturday Poetry: D. Nurkse, Featured Poet

The Bookshop is proud and excited to present the acclaimed poet D. Nurkse, described as “an essential American poet.” He is the author of eleven books of poetry (including his newest, A County of Strangers, released by Alfred A. Knopf) and has won many awards including the Literature Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. He was the Brooklyn Poet Laureate and teaches poetry at Sarah Lawrence College.
