25th Annual Donald & Beverly Jones Memorial Hike

Celebrate the work and lives of our friends Donald & Beverley Jones as we hike through the beautiful preserved land of the Wickecheoke Creek Preserve.

New Jersey Conservation Foundation and the Delaware River Mill Society offer this hike every November to recognize the legacy of Donald & Beverley and to continue fostering a wonderfully dedicated conservation community in western Hunterdon County.

Partake in autumn’s splendor with friends and family as we celebrate the work and life of our friends Donald & Beverley Jones. This year’s hike will mark the 25th anniversary of this wonderful event.

Choose from one of these beautiful hikes:

12pm – We will meet at the Prallsville Mills and carpool to the starting location at noon. This hike will showcase not only the beautiful preserved lands of the Wickecheoke Creek Preserve, but also the Locktown Stone Church, which is celebrating it’s 200th anniversary this year! 5 miles

2pm – The “Family Hike” is appropriate for all ages and will showcase the Wickecheoke Creek. 2 miles

All hikes depart from the Prallsville Mills (33 Risler Street, Stockton, NJ) and will return by 3pm.
