Bag Making/Sewing Workshop

Join Christina to sew up this adorable pouch, learn bag-making basics, and have some fun all at the same time. she will be teaching you several tips and tricks of the trade.

This is a brief description of the Posh Pouch:
This Luxurious pouch is made with Duck Cloth on the exterior and lined with quilting cotton and fleece which gives a very plush feel to the touch. It has a fancy zipper and zipper pull which will be pre-assembled for you. Measures approximately 7.75” long X 5” high.

Requirements: This is a beginner pattern. You need to have basic sewing skills and know-how to use your sewing machine.

Supplies included in your class:
Pattern, Fabric, Interfacing, Fleece, Zipper, double-sided tape

Required Items to bring to class:
Sewing machine
Sewing Machine Needle for medium to the heavyweight fabric. Maybe labeled as denim. Christina uses a 90/14 Universal Chrome by Schmetz.
Thread to match the outside of the fabric you choose. If you want neutral, white will work for all 3 choices.
Pre wound bobbin
Zipper foot (suggested: bring all the feet you have for your machine)
Fabric Scissors
Paper Scissors
Pins or Clips
Pin Cushion, if using pins
Seam Ripper

Suggested Items, not required. Christina will have most of the items listed below available to share:
Erasable ink pen, fine chalk pencil, etc.
Small Rotary Matt and Rotary Cutter
Pinking Shears
Seam Gauge Ruler
